Finca Tatin

We went to a jungle hotel called Finca Tatin for a few days. Since there are no roads in the area, it is of course on the river and the only way to get there is by boat. We went in a motor boat from our cabin.

A couple of months before, a Toucan showed up and it has become completely tame. At the hotel the staff has given it the name Touki:

Notice the phones and the e-reader charging. During the daytime. there was only solar powered lights in the room, so to charge phones etc., this was the place. In the evening, there were four hours of generator power for light and electrical sockets in the rooms.
On the first day, we went on a short walk in the jungle:
On the second day we went on a longer hike with a guide into the jungle to a cave called "Cueva del Tigre". The entrance is really impressive:
