La Gomera

The Canary Islands got more and more lush and green as we went west. La Gomera had real forests and we went for a long walk one day, among the moss covered tree trunks and large ferns:

A female hermite used to live in this house in the middle of the forest:

We were rewarded with a nice view at the top of our walk:

After San Sebastian, we anchored a short way further along the coast:

I had to change some things at the top of the mast:
