We continued north to pick up Karen Luise, our third and last guest of this spring. We picked her up in Puerto Escondido and sailed a couple of miles over to a large bay on Isla Danzante, where we anchored for a few days. On our first evening we were greeted by a large pod of dolphins that swam by just outside the bay:

The next day we went on a short hike ashore. Here we can see the volcanic peak of Isla Coronados in the distance between the sides of the gully:

Looking back towards the anchorage, where the small white dot in the distance is Amanda at anchor:

After two nights at Isla Danzante we sailed further north towards Isla Coronados. That day, a low fog was hanging at the surface of the sea:

We also went for a hike on Isla Coronados, first along the northern coast looking at the small dry trees, some of them with surprisingly thick trunks:

Then we moved inland and started the ascent of the volcano:

We did not go all the way to the top but still had a spectacular view of the bay where we anchored with the Baja peninsula in the background:

There was still some low hanging fog in the distance:

We then sailed on to Bahia Balandra on Isla Carmen:

We went for an afternoon dinghy ride:

A colorful sunset with the setting moon smiling at us:
